Food for foal?

I have a couple foals in the taming pen with fiber but they aren't showing in the crafting queue.

You need stables, not the taming pen.

Also try highland berries and shadespice highland berries. Seems to be a prefered food. testing now.

I have stables but my foal didn't show up in the crafting queue either. I even made a new save and tried again, no dice. :(

is it in the stable area, and not the food area? can also try seeds to feed them instead of fiber.

I wonder did you build a stable from parts or build The stable that you place as one item because the first is for the grown horse only? Just asking because you probably do know and you do have a problem. :(

So I've got it working now, it was a conflict with a mod, but I don't know which one. I just turned off all mods and when I took the foal out, and put it back in the stables, it started working normally.

Still having this issue. no mods installed, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, verified the integrity of the game cache, nothing has worked as of yet.
