Can you harvest feathers from Ostrich Pets?

I know they generate in the Taming pen, but once moved outside, is there a way to harvest feathers from pet Ostriches?

Not without killing them, but yes. Use a skinning knife.
Be quick and merciful or they'll get really mad at you.

Yes, you can if you keep them on the pen and don't place them in the world. Just feed them berries and they will produce dung and feathers.
