Bandages?

Why can't we use them during combat? You want it to make sense? What's with that whole stuffing your face during combat thing? Why can I do that but I can't bandage myself during combat?
For clarification, you can eat, but if you get hit, you stop healing. With bandages, you literally cannot use them during combat, it doesn't allow you to consume the bandage. I have stayed out of combat for a few seconds with the Undead Dragon Boss, but when he got close to me without even attacking, I stopped healing because (im guessing) he was agroed on me and counted as me being in combat.
Like why? What's the point? Why would I use a bandage when the level needed to craft them is so high you'd have passive life regen by then??? Why would I have that stat AND need to use a bandage after a fight in order to get my life back?

Now on to a question most of these kinds of threads don't ask:
May I ask that we be able to use bandages during combat? With the same penalty as eating food during it, where we stop healing when hit? That would be, Fantastic.

It stops the healing. In real life you can't say "HALT STOP! Let me sit down and use this bandage".

Mod for this, But last I checked it was broken. all Healing is broken I do think when hit, heck I rmember using a potion then I moved just walked and stopped healing in the beginning, think its fixed now though

They're useless. Don't even bother researching them. Like you accurately said, you can stuff your face with a boiled lobster in the middle of combat, and take the cork out of a potion with both hands in use, but for reasons unknown, wrapping cloth around an open wound is going too far.

High Skill Point cost as well, bought the improved ones, the mats are laughable
