I came back to say that once more I died while my pet was following me carrying a lot of good stuff.
I reclaimed my body and went back to my house, No pet.
The next day when I logged in my pet was there with all the gear he was carrying.
Mike
Missing T2 Entertainer. Before hes gone lost, i saw him walking to the north.
Ultra realistic mode enabled xD
But now it seems that Frillen is right and they return to the last place that you set them down.
Not where you told then to stop following.
This could be useful if it's reliable, you could load him with stuff, kill your self and travel back to your main house and still have all your stuff with you.
I'll experiment with no valuable materials involved.
This could have unreliable results depending on how you play...
If you play on official server, you will lose all your stuff and have to go back and loot your body, if you play singleplayer game you have the option to turn loot drop on death off, but the big question is how do thralls return?
If they teleport back to latest place they were put on guard, it might be safe for them, but if they start walking back they could run into obstructions, predators/thralls that gets aggroed by them, and I won't go into what can happen in the vulcano, let's just say that it is a very dangerous place for thralls and pets.
Again if you play on official server, one way to find out what happens is if you can get someone to watch and follow your thrall from a distance to see what they do when they start returning :)
