MSI Afterburner closes (crashes) after I start Conan Exiles!
As title says, MSI Afterburner closes after I start Conan Exiles... It started happening 3 days ago... MSI Afterburner vrsion was not updated or anything. I tried 5 different versions but no avail.
It happens only when starting Conan Exiles. Other games don't make this issue

Anyone have same problem?

Thanx

I use MSI afterburner as well and have for years. No issues with Conan Exiles.

Every so often I have issues with Riva and various other games though, so that's usually the first thing I look at when I start having MSI afterburner issues with any game.

Did you find a solution? btw I'm also getting insanely high ping on official servers which should do fine, does this happen to you?

Nah man... it happens also to 2 friends when Conan Exiles is concerned... BTW I will stop playing for a while... it is boring as fu*k... New content needed ASAP in for of lore, quests etc...

And I still don't have problems running Conan Exiles with MSI afterburner. This seems to be a very rare occurance. There is likely a link as to why your friends and Sangracius have issues and most others do not.

Just a thought, have you compared settings? Any recent hardware changes? Any new apps, games, or software installed?

Has anyone thought to contact the software developers for MSI and report an issue?
It had to be done with Radeon to eventually fix the transparency issues one update caused.

using msi afterburner and having no problems at all, i am also using rivatuner to put hardware stats on my logitech g19 so its also not a problem with rivatuner, did you do a completly fresh windows install? if yes then you must have a new afterburner installation aswell and its most likely a hardware problem.

are you using nvidia or AMD? since some people have the problem and others dont my personal guess whould be the problem might be gpu dependent, i am using nvidia gtx 1070.

This is a wild (nearly educated guess).
Check to see if you have other unessential apps running in Windows 10. Things that you really don't need. (such as other input devices). I remember before I reverted back to Windows 7 and I was using Windows 10, there were several apps running by default which were really completely unecessary .. so I turned them off (disabled them).
Turns out later on there were several more posts about issues caused because of those apps running in the background now that I think about it. This sounds vaguely familiar.

No man, windows is set up for poweruser... all bloatware, unecessary processes etc disabled... updated to the latest... all good... still happens...

I found a solution btw... try using Sapphire Trixx http://www.sapphiretech.com/catapage_tech.asp?cataid=291&lang=eng

Same software as MSI Afterburner although much better looking... works like a charm :)

cheers

Just to confirm, have you ever tried to start the game without the service active to play a singleplayer/local game?
