Greater Tiger?
How to get Greater Tiger? Does it need the T3 Animal Pen?

To gain a greater pet, it's a % chance while taming them to get a greater pet, rather then a normal pet. There are certain foods that can be given to pets to increase your chance. Further, in a certain dungeon you can get a special flower to also increase the chance for a greater pet.

If you would like to know what foods to give your pets, there is a full list on the wiki [conanexiles.gamepedia.com] (Click "Show" Next to the "List of Pet Food.)" The wiki also tells what dungeon to go to in order to obtain the flower, so beware of spoilers if you don't want to be exposed to that.

idk if they are different or not but I have a white tiger that has the same hit points as a greater panther but I have not been able to catch a greater tiger as yet.

the white Tiger is the Great Tiger, all Great pets has ca. 8200HP
