help with missing thrall

i've searched and found examples of missing thralls, but nothing specific to my situation.

my event log says azmadi the wanderer has returned home. that was a week ago. she's no where to be seen, my base isn't that big. i have only six other non-worker thralls, so i'm not just missing her.

i haven't yet died with this character, and i never told her to wait anywhere.

should i just consider her lost for whatever reason, or is there anything that can be done?

Some times if you log out and they stop following they take a while to show up at home, I was wondering to day why a thrall in really good armor has just been standing in the desert for several days, it seems someone must own her.

I've had thralls just vanish though or die for no reason.

i forgot to say that i'm playing PvE - i never left her anywhere. i didn't know they could just be killed, i don't see how she could have been. she was leveled up and wearing armour.

If not put to guard just left to stop following they will return to where you last set them to guard. If you have never set a guard point then it is where you originally placed them.

and yet i've never told her to guard anything outside my base. i've never set her anywhere outside my base. i played this game a lot last year, and now i've restarted, and i haven't had this problem before.

Craft a thrall feeding pot, check out the list of thralls eating from that pot, if your missing thrall is on the list she's probably inside some foundation, rock or something similar, if she is not on the list her home point is somewhere else.

The thrall feeding pot is a good idea, I have one in the center of my base and I can look anytime and see a list of all my local thralls.

I also just started a new PvE game after not playing for a year or so.

I do recall having this problem a few times in my last play. I assumed they died until one day I snuck up on and killed what appeared to be a well geared NPC. Too well geared and leveled for the area and carrying a lot of stuff too. As I was marveling over the dead warrior's loot it dawned on me that he was one of my lost thralls that went missing days earlier. LOL

As has already been mentioned, should be wherever you last set the Thrall to guard. If not, check your event log.

just built the thrall pot, and she is one of the thralls on the list. i have a small base still in the oasis area, and only 6 other thralls standing around. so i guess she's stuck inside something :/

With the "better thralls" mod you can yell and make all thralls nearby run to you and start following you. Maybe test that and see if she appears?
