Knowledge Keeper Thralls???

So, someone on my private server found and enslaved a Knowledge Keeper Thrall. I told them I heard it didn't actually do anything, but they said they were able to slot it into an artisan/armorers bench. Was I right or wrong? The wiki doesn't say anything about that thrall type at all. Do they actually do anything?

Have them take the thrall out of the bench. Look at the material cost of several items. Then put the thrall back into the bench, check the material cost for items again. If they go down, then the thrall is working.

I mean, we have a lot of mods, but I remember on the first server (with totally different mods), there was a knowledge keeper thrall.

I looked in all the servers mods and none list adding a knowledge keeper thrall, and I still remember seeing it a couple of years ago on the previous server I had. xD I will have them experiment with that thrall though.

What do I know, I only have spent hundreds and hundreds of hours managing Thrall Weighted Tables.

There is nothing on the Wiki, because there isn't a "Knowledge Keeper" thrall in SpawnDataTable. It doesn't exist in the vanilla game.

My hunch is that it's AoC, or Emberlight.

I never heard of AoC or Emberlight, we don't have those.

Are you sure it's called Knowledge Keeper and not Secretkeeper? There is a T4 blacksmith from the Volcano called Said Secretkeeper, but anything called Knowledge Keeper does not exist in vanilla game. So either you got the name wrong or it's from a mod.

About an year too late but they are from DMT.

As far as i can work out, the Knowledge Keeper now only seems to go into either the Alchemist or the Artisan benches, but there are no extra recipes or benefits from having them in there. This is from the AoC range of benches tho, not tried it in vanilla
