Stats for all followers, thralls or pets is now RNG meaning you might get lucky with the stats boosts they gain as they level or you might not. Even baseline stats for the the same named thralls / greater pets is RNG.
The question is now how quickly you can level equivalent followers that perform the same function.
If I'm going farming then a bearer thrall as they carry so much without a weight limit.
No normal access
I consider bearer thralls and my crafting stations my most valuable possessions.
Higher tier ones are also good tanks.
You know the bearers level up just as well, right?
They all seem to start with a lower health pool than fighters.....however there is a problem with T4 bearers which as far as I am aware has not been fixed. Also RNG is probably playing a huge factor.
I have not had a bearer thrall that has matched a fighter thrall in damage output yet.
why would a bearer ever match a fighter? they are glorifyed mobile boxes
That's my point they don't match a fighter now but in the past when they had a buff their health pool was so high - higher than a T4 fighters - and they dealt good damage that you may as well have taken a bearer with you.
Oddly, the t4 bearer I found didn't even break 7k hp at lvl15, so RNG can make a difference with thrall viability.
Wish there was a way to import the thrall system from Dragon's Dogma to this game.
