The dead mound area is constant nightime,
the frozen area at least has day and night cycles and generally no rain; luckily no snow squalls like we use to.
The desert is the most stable area .. weather wise
Use the correct armor for where you live.
Also kinda funny that I live in the jungle and normally it rains at least 70% of the time I'm there. Still has some nice sunny days but usually very rainy.
Then a couple of days ago (real life days) it's been sunny pretty much the entire several hours I've been in game. It was super weird, thought the server was messed up or something. 6, 7, 8, even 10+ hours and I didn't see it raining once. Tonight it did rain a little again and I was shocked...but didn't rain long.
Completely forgot to update the thread. Weather was generally fine last time I checked, although I do think the devs should have a min/max value for rainstorms to avoid the 40 days 40 nights situation. As for freezing, after I bum-rushed it across the bridge I found out that it was only the bridge (more accurately the entire lake) that I had trouble on. I guess they took the easy option and just made the entire area cold instead of adding an exception for the bridge.
