Sea food by itself can only be cooked in a fire, not a stove. Some recipes like fish strips must be cooked on a stove. You need to keep one fire around for cooking gruel and unappetizing fish & shellfish for ichor.

Thank you and I'm guessing I need to fine recipes also for some of it.

There are feats called "specialist cooking x" in the game. You unlock them by interacting with a lore object somewhere in the world.. https://conanexiles.gamepedia.com/Cooking_And_Brewing_Specialist_Books_Guide

But you can just cook fish in a normal campfire..

Ordinary fish can just be added to a fire (with wood) and then hit the "start" button and it'll be cooked.

You don't need recipes for food cooked on a fire, you just place the ingredients, some fuel (wood, coal, etc,) and clic the play button; only the stove's more "elaborate" plates require recipes.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

You can also put fish in a dryer and it will cook that way. The good thing about this is it lasts about 16 hours instead of just a few. It's not as good for you though but still brings up your health a lot.

The recipe for fish strips comes with the feat for Stove, so you don't have to search for it.

It really bothers me that you can't cook basic food items on a stove. I can guess how this happened from a coding aspect, i.e. there's a difference between constructions that auto-process items (campfires and furnaces) vs. constructions that follow player-selected recipe instructions (armorers and stoves), but it shouldn't be this way. At a minimum they should add recipes for gruel and shredded roast etc. to stoves if they're not going to process them automatically like campfires.

Normally, survival doesn't include stove cooking.

If you use mods or just a few .. for keeping food .. look for:

" Forever Foodbox (May 2018) ... By Spindle " and Still works Great Now _ even after all the updates.
