Raining indoors
Seriously, I built an insulated wooden house, spent a ton of time and resources on it, and the first time it rains, its like theres no roof or anything covering any of the surfaces.

Is this going to get fixed any time soon? It looks really naff having all of my indoor areas looking completely soaked to the core with rain, even though I should be perfectly dry. Hell, even my character looks like shes being hit by rain drops as well!

Yes, it's a bit disappointing for weather (rain and sandstorms) to exist indoors. Even more annoying are the gaps in full shelter that occur in various locations in a complete structure. I'm doubtful about either being fixed.

It also rains under water, try swimming below surface when raining and you will see.

Fun com haven't learnt how to simply disable weather when the shelter aspect is activiated.
ARK survival set that simple idea up years ago. Where as soon as you go into a house the sound doesn't stop but the rain, lighning or sandstorms do.

Trouble is Fun com love their rain and they expect everyone to love it whereever they are regardless how immmersion breaking it is, to rain thru three storey buildings. I would prefer being able to turn off rain / weather effects in game settings than watch the crap going through buildings. Just another sign of how much in EA condition Conan Exiles is.

In addition, being in an insulated wooden house, or Black Ice insulated house for that matter does nothing to reduce temperature effect. If you can freeze to death 10 feet outside the door, you can freeze to death in the house as well.

I made a full Khitan house with 2 Fireplaces in a room up by Freya Hovel and standing in front of them I was still cold/ very cold depending on the armor I had on. It's all fluff.

I built the same! An insulated house up North!
My bed looks like its been through the dishwasher!
I am even soaking wet in my own house!
Good to know I am not alone on this!!

Agreed, in comparison in the game Novus Inceptio I had an issue of the being absolutely cold even standing infront of a fireplace. Where the game Calender was set in mid winter. I posted about it on Steam forum and the dev had me send a tiny DB file which they fixed and emailed back within 2 days to fix issue. So that's the sort of response a great Dev can do.

Boy do I agree with that ... there is a very long list of game issues. The game held so much promise when it was first released in EA since then it's been a rollercoaster to Meh.

So, to add insult to injury... I ran into THIS today...

As you can see, I'm inside a building, yet the game, for some reason, thinks I'm outside. It doesn't give me any shelter icon or anything... but the worst part?

The bloody rain particles are going right through the damn roof like the building isn't even there... Like... really devs? Are you THAT lazy you cant even bother to give static buildings that YOU put there a shelter area? Like... WHY?

This is just getting to be really annoying and frustrating at this point... there are plenty of other games that do this correctly, and yet funcom cant?
