What's the point of the queen bee?

I figured it's rarity meant that it would do something better than give 1 extra honey. Kinda pointless.

Do you need to use master Apiarist in order to get decent use out of the queen?

Didn't find any Queen Bee so far ..

Tho Worker Bee in Bee Hive produce one Honey and in Improved Bee Hive 2 Honey ...

We found 3 in the Black Garden.

I think the queen just isn't working correctly yet. People on discord said in the devkit it's producing 50/75 honey.

Around river in the south. I just collect every plant i find. most times get workers. but im around a 1queen/10-15workers ratio.

Yep, the queens seem to turn up more with Aloe plants.

I was collecting by hand. Got a queen from the... oh ya indigo plant too. spent couple hours last night running through the jungle area "tigers and panthers" and got 3 queens and abut 36 workers.

Seems like the queens and workers are just a little buggy. I've been getting different amounts of honey on the beehive during different sessions.

It looks like the worker bee and queen are intended to produce 2/3 honey and 50/75 honey, respectively, on the beehive & advanced beehive.

So once you get the worker bees and/or the queen bees, what do you do with them exactly? I'm about to see what they give me in the fluid press because they seem pretty useless.

But to answer your question, make a beehive and place them in there. They convert to honey, which is faster than the default harvest rate. It works just like bugs in the fish traps.

You shall have a queen bee and a couple of nomral bees to passively generate honey.

But, as many other half-assed mechanics it doesn't work properly.

Yeah, I put them in the beehive and it stops making honey. So I figured that was the wrong thing to do with them. That seems kind of like a waste of inventory space in the beehive, especially when they give you so little to begin with. They should have separate slots for bees if they want to do it like that. Personally I think it's a stupid idea, just more bothersome crap to deal with with no point at all, but whatever.

And well yeah it's an old post, but why make a new one and cluttler up the forum about the same question when someone might have an answer now? Would you rather search though 20 threads to find an answer to a question you have or just 1 thread?
I don't get why people have a problem when you post on an old thread that is totally relevant to the topic. Some kinda OCD thing I guess.
