More relevantly, has it broken your mods that aren't actually related to the patch? I haven't checked my server yet to see if it is playable, but it didn't look like any of the changes should have affected my mods, in theory.
Steamapps/cpmmon/cononexile/conansandbox/saved
Also in the saved folder are backup copies. The current game is called game.db and all older backup get that name and a backup with number added. You can delete the current and rename a previous backup to the current name game.db
Of course save before trying and while steam is shut down, or steam will correct the error.
It worked for me when a major update broke several mods and all their buildings so redoing a previous save helped to fix the issues.
Remember that with a patch you have to wait till the mods are updated and then remove them all from your active list.close your game down restart and add your mods back ontop to the new patched game in the same load order as you had before.
Hi!
As it turns out only one mod seems to be broken. We use Pippi currently and thought that was a major issues at first and it kinda is but it seems to be solvable by turning of Nameplates in the Gameplay options.
One of these days I'd like to try to bang this into something I could use serverthrall on but at the moment I just haven't had time.
I hadn't thought about that... I don't host the server myself but that's a good thing to keep in mind for the future. As for the mods going boing on a patch I guess we all just got spoiled by the patches not causing major issues and/or Funcom givng the Mod authors a but more heads up and a working DevKit.
