Just got hit with the journey and map icons disappearing bug...

Was playing for the better part of yesterday and saw some other people complaining about this hitting them yesterday where their map icons and journey completely reset on them. But mine was fine yesterday when I logged in and played. I will note that I did end up in the foundation yesterday once, but I had logged out naked so removing bracelet fixed that for me.

Log in today and first thing I see is a ton of debris in my house I built, like the structure had collapsed, and my first thought was "oh crap there goes my house," which would have driven me nuts replacing the resources I farmed. When the debris cleared and I began inspecting the place however, nothing was destroyed. Absolutely nothing. I thought that was odd then I noticed... my journey had reset. Eat, drink, climb where my objectives listed in the top right, so I opened up the journey journal itself and... yep. Everything's back to zero completion. Open up the map, all map icons gone. Its interesting to note that this is several logins later after the patch, as yesterday I logged in and out several times over the course of the day before I got hit with it when I logged in this morning.

I think the map icons and Journey objectives reset is related but I could be wrong.

Edit to add 9:49 AM 7/6/2018: And I just relogged back in now, and it seems to have fixed the bug for me. Like completely closed the game and went back to my private server that my friends and I are renting and...my journey is back to normal, and all my map icons are back. I have a feeling this bug will be difficult to replicate and track down to fix...

everything seems to be connected somehow. I either get all the bugs or none, except from the known issues and the timer skipping.
i tested a few times and it was always when i logged out on foundations. logging out standing on my bed like i normally do keeps everything fine for me.

This scares the s*it out of me. yestersay i did not have most of the bugs,
better skip testing today & wait for the next hotfix.
official posted today that there should be one in a few hours.

Rolling out a hotfix a day after? Wow, for once someone over there is on the ball. Hopefully it fixes all the issues. Hopefully. Yeah yeah I know, being optimistic.

Now this is some good news in this dark hours... Let's see the outcome.

Just tossing on to add, this happened again at 6:09 PM my time, US Mountain Timezone, when I tried to log in after dinner. Journey reset, map markers gone, a bunch of debris but nothing is actually destroyed.

edit to add: and logging back out and back in a couple times seems to have fixed it this time. I'm starting to think its some sort of load in error when you first log in, like things haven't quite fully loaded on your character.

I noticed if you pley long enough (up to couple hours) eventually your Feats and Markers respawn again in correct order.

I had the glitch everyone had but then when I pressed 'M' at some point the map started flicker between a gray overlay and standard overlay at which point my markers "glitched in".
They sort of "flickered in" after it was over they didnt go away again.

I'd say I suppose the fix is implemented and soon it will reach you

Hrm... again that makes me think its some sort of loading glitch, like all the data for your character hasn't loaded for some reason. Still its kinda annoying glitch

True, I had a crash where it requested me to verify cache for missing files. Many other people were hit with that I'm not sure if that helped me fix it, but i think there could be a realistic connection. Do that see if anything changes
