The crafting in Conan Exiles is very simple. Put some wood and stone together and you have a wall. There are no different quality resources, just resource nodes you gather from (or kill animals etc). The only difference with other survival games, is that you can use a slave (thrall) to improve your crafting.
And there are only 7 attributes(skills). There are only a few attacks and the attributes just give passive stats. Most players will have very similar builds. Also because 2 out of the 7 attributes are mostly useless.
Resource gathering and progression within crafting is very themepark MMO like in the way it is lineair. No prospecting for resources, they are all in fixed positions and higher tier stuff is in specific biomes.
workstations turns A B C D into E F G H, build new eapons and armor with new resources. when you level up use workstations to turn E F G H into I J K L repeat until you can build the final form of the workstations which give more room.

Unless it's seriously updated graphics and assets I don't think I could bring myself to.
