Having that ability is what allows for easier building on sloped terrain, otherwise you're stuck building in an area that is less that a foundation height in difference, without other awkward techniques.
It also offers a whole other selection for aesthetic value.
There's no way they'll change it now though.
It might be good for pve'rs but it affects PVP alot and this is the problem.
It makes walls useless in pvp considering foundations have more hp. Like you would never have to use a wall at all because of foundations. Sure a foundation cost more but not by much. They either need to increase the cost or make walls the same hp as foundations.
I mean piling into a tower and using them for walls.
What if double walls are used?
Why double wall when you can double foundation?
Space :D
If you are online and can actively defend/repair your base then yeah I imagine it'd be a nightmare to get through.
