More hotbar slots PLEASE!!!!!

For the love of god can we please get some more hotbar slots ill take even 2 more. I hate the fact that I for some items like my water I need to go into my inv cuz of the lack of slots or say I dont want to use a steak and want to use a berry I dont have enough slots to put both on the slot.
Pretty much my hotbar looks like this.
1)Daggers -2) Pick - Hatchet- 3)Sword or Axe) - 4)Shield - 5)Skinning daggers - 6)Cleaver - 7)Aloe Potion - 8)Food/Steak - 9) Water(Usally not my water but something else I cant remember off the top of my head as im not in game atm)

So if I wanted say to switch to a javlien or throwing axe or anything else that would be useful I would have to go into m inv or I have to stop before I know I am going to have to fight and switch things on my hotbar. I normally dont keep my water on my hotbar but I added it becaue I can't remember the other things I need to keep on there.

They could easily just add the 0 and - keys for a total 11 hotbar slots hell even 1 more slot would be awsome. I see no reason why 0 isnt there. Yes I might just be lazy because I dont want to go into my inv everytime I want to use my gathering tools or water or certian potion/food item. Its very annyoing especially when my inv has like 20+ different items in there and I am out gathering. Plus I like to use the bugs/berries sometimes for regen in combat if I only took alittle bit of damage instead of wasting something harder to make.

Or Press Ctrl+1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 to select another hotbar for different sorting. Like Space Engineers has it

8 slots are made for consols users and for those who play with the gamepad.

If "use" from inventory actually worked on any item so you didn't have to put it into your toolbelt it would help. Like wth do I need to take my axe out of my inventory, then put it in my toolbelt, then take it out of the toolbelt before I can use it?

Yes this is very annyoing other thing you can use in the inv is food/drink but weapons nope which sucks. As to the point of the console users and people with gamepads well this can always be an option for the keyboard/mouse users to add toolbar slots it wouldnt be that hard for them to do considering the code and UI is already there..

We need to make this like a big deal otherwise it will never get done. Post on offical forums redit etc etc because I think everyone will agree another 2 hotbars would be nice or even just the option to add another a hotbar slot/slots and you can keybind them yourself

Yes more hotbars please. The way it was mentioned already would be amazing for building and switching to different hotkeys to instantly craft building sets
