Romans/Greeks

hi guys i actually really excited for this game. waiting to get it till its actual release. but i don't know much about the lore. or any of the races and was wondering if there was any group that was like the Romans/Greeks. (for roleplaying purposes) and for armor types and what not. please let me know :D

It would be Aquilonians and Nemedians. I think they are something like precursors to our ancient Romans and Greeks in Howard's alternative history.

The whole setting of Hyborian age is Howard's vision of our planet before ancient times.

Aquilonians and Nemedians are mix of Ancient Roman or Greek (with Argos, Ophir or Corinthia, which are not playable), Kushite and Darfari are africans (the pulp's era vision, with cannibalism and else), Shemite are Jews/Arabs, Picts are some king of mix beetween historical picts and Amerindian, Cimmerian are Gaels (Irish/Scot/Breton), Hyrkanian are Mongol, Turanian are kind of Turks, Zingarian don"t really know. Vanirs and Aesirs are Nordheimer, kind of vikings/germans tribes (from pulp vision). Khitan are chineese, Vendhyan are Indian.

Hyborians are the main group of population, including Aquilonian, Nemedian, Kothian, Argos, Ophir ... A kind of European (excluding Cimmerian and Northmen).

Main inspiration is Ancient times, but in the books some times it seems like european middle ages.
