My nordheimer player gets attacked my nordheimer NPCs
I haven't played this game to much but its odd that my nordheimer character gets attacked my nordheimer NPCs at New Asagarth and other smaller camps. Is it some thing that will be fixed down the line or maybe on may 8th. Maybe a bug? They keep calling me Outlander when I'm not.

You are an "outlander" to them.
They're not going to welcome you with open arms and they were there before you showed up.

Is there a way to befriend the NPCs in this game?

go to the relic city. there's still a few agressive NPC there but that's only place in entire game where everything doesn't try to kill on sight.

I'm not sure if they would count it as friendship, but you can bonk them on the head with a club until they pass out, then put them in a wheel of pain until you become friends.

Yes actually you can make friends with NPC's. First you find one you like and get him alone. You then dab him/her with the "truncheon of friendship" repeatedly until they get tired. You then attach a "friendship bracelet" onto them and take them to the "Wheel of Companionship" (we call it our HR department) and feed them a healthy meal for a few hours until they are ready to join you in whatever way you see fit in friendship. I have made hundreds of friends this way.

This is far more along the lines of wording choice I use when attempting this in real life.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Well I am the guild Human Resources Director. They all gather resources and build work spaces, I find the new recruits and put them through processessing. One big happy family on Team RazorTalon. Honestly The Black Hand rock ship should have a statue out front that looks like my character....AS A WARNING to the npc's. As my guildmates like to say when I run off to give my recruiting pitch "those poor poor pirates".

Thats Great! I love that statue idea and poor poor pirates indeed. ♥ I haven't played on servers much but I'm sure thats the only real way to have friends you don't have to stick in your pockets.
