Loot all when F is a movement key.
I use ESDF because WASD is terrible. There doesn't seem to be a way to rebind the loot all button, so whenever I'm walking around, I automatically loot everything in sight. There needs to be a rebind option or disable for the loot all function.

So, you shift your key binds 1 (ONE) key to the right and you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about that.

WASD is terrible, that's why everything ever was programmed to be played like this.

..........SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

If you look in that file path, find the file called "Input.ini"

- Right click it and edit it with a program like Notepad++ (free)

For me it is on line 139, presumably will be the same for you, you should just be able to change the 'F' in this line to whatever you want;

ActionMappings=(ActionName="QuickLootNavTakeAll",Key=F,bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False)

It is possible to rebind the default F action, it is just not implemented in the game options.

Go to your Conan Exiles folder -> ConanSandbox -> Saved -> Config -> WindowsNoEditor. There's a file called Input.ini - open it and search for "InventoryShortcut1" and "QuickLootNavTakeAll". Both have an entry "Key=F" next to them. Rpelace F with any Key you want.

Took me a while to figure that out. They need to add an option to rebind all default keys. Can't be too difficult as the internal process of rebinding a key is literally just what I described above.

In what alternate reality is WASD terrible but ESDF is awesome?

WASD? Bad? I have been using WASD since 1993. It is the greatest control scheme in history.

I really struck a nerve with WASD, haha. It just gives my pinky way more versatility. I have Q and Z to use with ease if I want, while also having tab and shift within reach. Thanks for the quick fix guys.

Why is WASD stupid? because if you want to type, you have to shift your hand over, and it also takes away one less button you can reach to the right, why the heck would I want to rest one key farther over than I do for everything else on a computer

I have never heard of this ever it seems like when some one says they don't like a great movie simply because every one else likes it... Accept then they can come up with some almost valid arguments at least a 1/3 of the time I can't see how for the life of me shifting one key over fixes anything but makes things harder, unless you got a tiny keyboard and big hands then I would recomend a new keyboard...

I use ESDF because it literally adds extra keybinds. For someone like me who hates trying to use ALT and CTRL for actions, its just far more comfortable to remake whatever was on those to easier to reach keys.

Doesn't mean that WASD is "terrible", just inefficient in comparison.
Krob May 8, 2018 @ 11:31pm
As a touch typist, ESDF is much more natural to me and makes it a hell of a lot easier to find the keys if I need to move my hand away. Additionally, as stated above, having the extra keys on the left is very useful. Personally, WASD drives me nuts and not being able to remap the keys is enough to get me to return a product (or not buy it in the first place if it's a known issue).

But you do you. And you should try to not get so bristled over something so trivial as someone not liking your keyboard scheme, life's too short.
