Don't take anything less than an iron mace into a fight with one. (used it on the boss croc just NW of the sentinels at that small lake) took a while to beat it down, but the armor penetration from the spiked mace did a good job with sundering it's "armor"..
Out manuver it .. hit from the side.
Direct facing, use a shield to block its lunge attacks.
Went head to head with a black rhino using Telith's Lament .. after it knocked me off a ledge and made me mad I made short work of it.
I've had my own hide handed to me more than once.
Can you give us a fast hint wich file to edit to set boss hps more on the line of original hps. Instead of 4k hp each boss and spider only 1,4k i would like to try to edit each boss to 25% of orginal hps.
More like until Funcom holds true to their advertisement.
The game is advertised and sold with a singleplayer / coop mode, so they should offer a settings preset for this mode.
Funcom doesn't have to change a damned thing about it.
Wanting them to change it to suit your taste is like asking to be spoon fed.
Will make rest of the game to easy. The bosses are ridiculus tryed Giant Scorpione with godmod and Starmetal Greatsword. Took one Hour!
Are some folks complaining the bosses are too buffed because they can't solo a boss to get a legendary weapon? Go figure that one out.
I was able to craft a legendary weapon after hitting level 60 and I'm quite pleased with it.
For me, anyway .. killing a boss was satisfaction enough.
Scaling player damage based on boss HP will make you mow through everything else.
Stop defending lazy devs, they need to show responsibility for what they actually advertise and promise.
Funcom already got a terrible track record in that regard.
The scaling is not meant to compensate for boss fights, it's meant to balance out the damages between the player and other NPCs which can be a pain in the backside.
To beat a boss, you really have to work your a** off to beat it. But I more serously question whether or not those bosses are really worth the trouble.
Or you not informed and don't know that the Bosses wher turned in a bad way in last patch:
They only give them 100 Times the HP they had before. What is challenging about hiting a mob with out any danger for an hour. Thats not skill or some challenge that tendious bussywork. They are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tuned for multyplayer. And not even good for that. Instead of making the bosses challenging they lazy tunned thee hps 100 times they wher before last patch. Is even to much with 4 Persons in Multiyplayer and Endgame Equip, because it was an fast and easy way to make the bosses more "challenging" that will not stay this way.
If you did not try the bosses Solo in the last few day shut the ♥♥♥♥ up and try them
The boss will be needed to break the braclet and esscape. FunCom can not market this game as Single Player and Multiplayer this way.
If I am careless, regular NPCs will still skin me alive.
If it was nt in the last days then you not knowing what is talked about. You speak about an old build wher they had 1% of current hps.
