Drying Rack Worth Using?
I hate having to find bark all the time for the rack and the tanning station is it worth actually using dry fire wood I got a fish trap and solo for right now jsut testing eveyrthing is there really a point minus I need it to make the perseving box later? Like is dried wood worth it or should I just stockpile coal and burn wood till I get more coal rich area?

I am newb valley right now but starting to stock up for move to a harder zone making t2 parts first want to have a base t2 up and running in next day or so in a region with more iron and coal. So plenty of wood near me just debating if its worth my time to harvest bark with the metal pick or use the axe and just burn non dry wood to make the hug pile of bricks and iron I will need to get the basic first story down of my new base.

Bad enough I gonna have to try farming up there, as right now I got aloe for days, but new spot its mroe rare, so have to garden it Oh and add on question is there a weight limit to thralls I got move a few up north with me as well, and I am wondering if I could jsut pile foundation stacks on one and save my self repeat trips

dried wood is the best, longest lasting fuel for camp fires, stove, firebowl cauldron and the furnace.
Bark is still required for the tannery and the dryer.
But also, when you dry wood, you also get resin as a byproduct which is a key ingredient for making insulated T2 structures. Insulted now requires dried wood planks converted into insulated wooden planks with resin at the carpenter bench, iron reinforcement and shaped wood. .
Keep in mind you cannot make shaped wood from dried wood. It has to be made from raw wood.
