Not enough vertical surface [HELP NEEDED]
So I've just finished the very basics of a bit bigger base, and I was about to light up the place a bit.
But on many foundations used as the wall of the Fort, I can't place any braziers or torches etc.
It says it is not vertical enough at whatever height. Sometimes it's working like a charm andI can place them easily... but on the rest of them(the bigger part) I just can't...
Any siggestions how to "override" this ? (Or even what's the problem?)
:2017stickytube:Any help would be much appreciated.:2017stickytube:
Thanks :lovebubble:

problem is when torch model is in block model, try find place where it is not "tilted" into block in box like area at borders of torch object.
try place it on brick like surfaces..

A screenshot will help a lot.

So your walls are stacked foundations, you want to place the braziers on your 'wall' but the game is having issues due to the fact it isn't really recognizing them as walls?

You have to start at the bottom foundation but try snapping 'Fence foundations' to the bottom one, then lining those up the wall. It's a much nicer look, on top of adding extra strength to the wall, they may also offer better attachment. Worth a try at least.
