What's the point of the swamp?
This place looks like it could easily be passed over, because the Desert has basically the same level stuff in the Savannah. Thrall camps are so weak here, and I have yet to find an Arch Priest spawn. In comparison, there are tons of camps in both the Desert and the North, and all the high level stuff that anyone would want is up north anyway... like all the best thralls for defense and such. The Swamp just seems like a total waste of time. It's cool looking, but there is literally no reason to go there outside of aesthetic reasons. IMO, it was a mistake to make the Swamp the level it is. It should have been the same level as the North.

You have a nice spot to farm the thick hides from gorillas and other animals with less stress than fighting a rhino or elephant. It has spots with plenty of resources and a nice theme compared to the desert.
Most likely it is to offer people another setting with similiar content and to help spread all over the map.

Sadly an arch priest for Derkato isn't implemented yet.

Spiders, spiders aaaaand more spiders.

Oh and demonic spider boss on an island.

And there is "the Passage" teleporting you to the North. That cave was bugged for me btw, spiders inside had no AI and wouldn't react to me passing by or attacking them.

But as CoR3 said it, it's a nice alternative to the desert as a starting zone. I thought I would just explore and go back to my main base but then I made a new base there and got my thralls from Flotsam.
and more spiders! ^^^

All the time seeing only the desert is getting me kind of depressed.
Somehing green like the swungle is better for my eyes, my own garden... with spiders. :-)
All i need now : white picket fences.

10/10 would've preferred mounts, pets, and settlements over swamplands and the snowy area instead.

She's not even a priest, she's an archer. At least in my game. Her profession under her name is "archer".

200% stoopid.

The boss of the dungeon has a lore tie to the new Journey progression. There's also the Sandstorm Maniac who isn't technically part of the area, but was added with it in the south who is Lore-centric. Talk to The Archivist if you want to learn more.

The think the island of siren's is a nice place to visit. That alone is a good reason to visit the jungle area :) Took me a while to find the hidden reason for that island and makes sense they worship Derkato.

It's obviously not even close to being finished, some regions are completely empty of any spawns, some have bugged spawns and unfinished terrain. Pretty much no lore, ghost visions or unlockables except for like two areas or so. It's clear they rushed this out for the release.
