Skipping intro

how can i skip the intro cuz it's f..u..c..k..i..n..g annoying to hear the same s..h..i..t again and again and NO left click or right click does not work it's a permanent loading

On a side note I've tested this out it works no videos for the intro. Yet there is a black screen for a minute or so until the game loads fully... As an alternative there is a mod that offers a different intro. Not sure if it still works. Easy steps. Any questions feel free to ask.

or i guess i can just delete the videos ?

Sure you could do that. Tho I haven't tried it myself. They may be required to validate your copy of CE in a future patch as I recall validating my copy added the intros back. So I just recently removed them again. I'd back them up first before you delete them! Not huge files really so you could validate and steam would just re-download them if it's an issue. Adding the - sign to the videos under config does work tho and reduce loading times. Let me know if it works...

Are you using mods? It's during the intro that mods load, you'll see the 3 dot loading icon at bottom left of screen, and can't skip video until the mods are done loading. For me they take about 95% of the intro to fully load since I'm using a lot of them.

they're going to kill the game by forcing people to watch the intro each time because they run mods

ESC works after exiting the game once, with or without mods. Whenever I shutdown and restart my whole system, it's the same all over again.

Then I guess it's somehow related to system memory (I got 32 GB RAM and 8 GB Video RAM).

i have 16 GB ram and 4 VRAM but i dont have this issue with games like conan

You are able to skip the intro when your game is all loaded up. I tried and managed to fully remove them but I do not recommend it. It actually has a purpose loading your game, when I removed them it just crashed over and over again but as I said when your pc loaded up the game then you can skip it with esc... I'd install it to my ssd for faster load but lol no the game is like 80 gb I save the space for programs

They don't force people to watch it, they play while the game loads, once its loaded you are free to skip by pressing the mouse button, in fact they are clearly configured to be skippable.
