Cold resistance armor?

So im trying to put together some gear to live in the frozen north, however all the gear i make is only 1 bar of cold resist even though the wiki says you're supposed to be able to get more bars of resistance based on the quality of gear.

Anyone got any tips? or can you only get 1 bar of cold res tops per piece?

I am curious about that myself. Only seen 1 set item with 2/5 bars highlighted. Can you get items with 5/5 bars highlighted per item?

Some rare items have 3/5 and even rarer 5/5 bars of resistance. Try getting a tier 4 armorer that can craft the armor you want and make it flawless quality and you will get 2/5 resistance.

yeah get a T4 armourer and craft the flawless version, it will provide more protection.

When you get to 60 craft the Epic version.

There are also some legendary shields that offer very high heat/cold resistance.

The Cold Resistance is totally bogus, modded it to get rid of it
All Cold resist armors are skimpy and many of the heat resist armors look actually warm
also the warm/cold distribution across the map is... unbalanced

i find double heat res to be to much, i freeze in the desert if i drink water
