What do you do after starmetal?

Trying to figure out what to do after starmetal. Are starmetal tools the best? My wife and I did jheb boss dungeon and it was terribly easy... I thought it was going to be a challenge to get gear but only learned a recipe list.

Starmetal is the best tier. There is nothing after it for tools.

Tools wise Starmetal is the best, I think. Weapon and Armor wise, Legendary armor and weapons from a variety of sources is top tier.

If you get the Calamitious Mod there is added faction new mobs and bosses to kill max level 120 and 3-4 new tiers of weapons/tools and Tier 4 Buildings fantastic mob really refreshes the game have a rented server if your interested let me know

starmetal is garbage. Acheronian and Obsidian tools have better harvest rates. Black ice broad sword is one the best weapons in the game and its harden steel sword + black ice. The new end game is getting Sword of Crom for a thrall +120 dps.

Star metal is just about the best, with a couple like Acheronian and a few others, which are slightly better. A couple of those are recipes that you find through defeating some bosses and such.

At least for weapons, I kind of think that the Starmetal, Obsidian, and Black Ice are a waste. Once you hit Hardened Steel, its not too hard to solo world bosses with a hardened steel. You can farm keys all the way to level 60 and just skip all those weapons because now you have a bunch of keys to get legendary weapons with.

As far as tools starmetal is the best, on par more or less with obsidian and acheronian. The best weapons are the legendaries you get from the world boss chests and the best armor the flawless epic version of your prefered one.

As for difficulty, if you are already lvel 60 with star metal the Jhebbal Sag dungeon is going to be easy, try the black keep, the volcano or the arena, as well as world bosses.

Nope, stopped playing over a year ago, figured since there was new content we would start it up again and see how things went. We researched nothing to leave a little to be learned, however it seems as though there has not been a huge change aside from pets, which seem underpowered when compared to thralls anyway. Some passive resource gathering is ok i guess, really the gold-rocknose is the only thing worth a ♥♥♥♥ imo as passive gold is nice.

Looks like mods such as AoC are the way to go for more longevity. Thanks for all the replies @everyone

For tools, Starmetal pickaxe has the same harvesting rate as obsidian and is better then Acheronian (at least according to the wiki)

As far as weapons, don't forget Dragonbone. They often have as much damage as legendaries and are MUCH easier to repair. Though some legendaries have special traits.
