Best arrows thralls can use without using them.

As the title says, wondering what kind of arrow I can give my archer thralls so they do more damage but don't burn arrows.
Seen old posts about snake arrows / "Normal" arrows. Does that mean up to like hardened steel?

Edit: On that topic, good melee for thralls? Warrior ones, daggers or swords work?
And do shield work?

From what I have seen is they have unlimited Ironhead arrows, anything else you have to supply them and they get used up.

Last time I tried (about 2 weeks ago) I gave an archer 1 poison arrow and they just kept firing poison arrows in unlimited supply.
These day I don't use fighters or archers, I use the named T4 bearers with 9k HP, they fight just as good but can carry a truck load of stuff too.

venom infused weapons are nice for melee thralls or if that's too rich for you then hardened steel is good and for archers, snake arrows or serpentman arrows and if you have one of the DLC, the epic bows from them are cheap to make. The only infinite arrows they have are flinthead ones.

Thanks for the replies. Anyone know how good / bad their "line of fire" is?
Like if I put em 5 walls high with a fence on top as "cover" / looks will they be able to leaan over and shoot or do I need to use those...can't recall name but it's a really low wall. C something I think.

On a PVE friends server so purge is only thing that will attack us.

You'll need crenelated fences for that.

3 high walls with crenelated fences or no fence at all is your best bet.
