New Places to build Bases/Castles.

I'm looking for some new Places to build Castles. My usual Spots are running boring and can use a Change of Scenery. Can anyone Recomend some good areas? PReffered is Flat Ground (as Possible), Access to Resources such as Iron, Access to Animals that offer High Grade Flesh, Access to Thralls (High emportent).


I usually build in the Desert and other places.. just neednew areas to try.

Character is Arya Stark (Shut Up) and is a Exiled Derketo Priest looking to start a new Coven.

You try anything in the North? I've built some good places on the hills to the west of the lake. Good access to resources and higher level fur bearers for all the hides and skins you'll need. Also has relatively quick access to the Volcano and the higher level thralls available there as well as the northerners. Will need to build with tier 2/3 structures to be comfortable though.

Anything you'd recomend? I usually spawn Khitan and then Build the Castle then actually farm for the Resources to Decorate and Outfit.

The Shattered Basin. Centrally located in G8. Elephants and Rhinos near by as well as several bosses. On the boarder of desert and highlands. Water access. Freya's Hovel near by for T4 archers. Major cities not far away either. Highlands side has plenty of iron.

The down side is it's nearly impossible to effectively secure it for PvP. You would have to dump crazy amount of resources to fully secure it.

Khitan would work, might need to alter the outfits for the cooler climate though. I've tried about every race they have and not had any trouble doing just about anything I wanted with them all over the map. I usually run with Set for religion, but Derketo priest works too. Just let your imagination run free and have fun experimenting with it all.

Well I also have a Personal Headcannon with it too. Basically Set and Derketo Worshippers share a very Uneasy Allience. Set Worshippers onced= used Uninitiated Derketo priestess in Rituals... usually Sacraficing them. Derketo Responded by sacking a Set bastion with the help of Crom Worshippers from a nearby Arena.

I might Try Highlands... never been a fan of Snowareas... plus only really Black Ice Structures look good there. Building will be a Walled off Castle consisting of 5 Main Towers and a Keep. The Towers are connected to the Keep btw. Linkof a previous version I built: https://ibb.co/gRkyzXw

It's will be walled by a 10 Foundation Long, 5 Point Wall with Towers at all Points and of Course a Murder Box/Hole

Khitan was horrible in Desert... never again. Overtime I built a much Better Version. Couldn't even be in the same room as the Forge...

I was planning to build west of the Northern Aqueduct, it's located in the green area with a very flat surface. It is located rather close to a nord hero spawn (I forgot her name, but it was huntress something) and a cave with giant freezing bats. I did not venture further north due to lacking warmth gear. But it seems like a proper expanse to build on. Plus you get a great view of the aqueduct and the volcano. Not to mention the Nordheimer settlement to attack every now and then. Just watch out for Misha, the dagger she drops is very nice, but can be tricky to fight.

between bjorns last stand and stargazers crest you can build right into the mountain a fairly large plateau iron and bear cubs nearby as is black ice you also can see the meteorites fall and retrieve them in the valley of bjorns last stand mostly deer no wolves maybe one bear

and indeed shattered basin easy access to north savannah and desert water nearby iron but need a huge amount of mats to build properly maybe not suited for pvp.

I like to build a Beowulf style castle in H8 just East of the lake. That area has a ton of iron and no enemies. If you do build anywhere in that area, I highly recommend building a large stairway just south of there to connect the desert to the highlands. It makes raiding the Black Galleon super fast and easy.
