I have come to the conclusion the Night eye potion, does exactly what it says. And makes everything look like night. Like a blinding potion. :D

This is positively one of the dumbest posts I have ever seen here. You ever go hunting at night in the jungle? How about deep dives in the pirate cove at night. Ever tried to defeat bosses with a thrall in the unnamed city, like the red mother? Or how about running in the night with saber tooth and demon saber tooths in the star metal alley? Ever done these things alone on default settings? If not shut the ♥♥♥♥ up!

yes I have and its 10 times better with a torch out. I dont know what kind of potato your running the game on but I have everything on the highest settings and this potions is horrible and is stupid to have something like this in the game. I also hate how the devs through it would be go to slash you screen with colors (blood, corruption, darkness) as an a status effect and this potions is the same. If your vision is better than a mole than you could tell this strains your eyes.

This destroys your entire argument, because now you are limited to one handed weapons, which is antithetical to soloing bosses with a thrall.

Basically, you are a moron. Night eye potion serves a purpose. If you cannot stay within that purpose, you pay the price. That you are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in managing these balances says nothing about the game. It only says something about you.

I believe he is trying to say the potion doesn't work. I've read it works for some and not for others. It does not work for me either

One thing I've noticed that for me it works great in the jungle, but in the North West areas like in the snow and near the mounds of the dead, it hardly works at all. I think darkness has been modified in the game so now it's like there is some kind of overlay on the screen in certain areas so using gamma tricks won't work. Just a theory, I cant explain it but it's kinda how it looks to me. Kinda seems like a similar effect with sandstorms now, too.
