tried that still slow as hell, and with doing it in the file itself, and ive been setting it high as hell too and still super slow

Smaller is faster. The multiplier is literally the multiplier. So if a thrall takes 1800 seconds, setting the multiplier to 0.2 will make it 0.2 x 1800 = 360 seconds while setting the multiplier to 2 will make it 1800x2=3600 seconds.

Im not sure how much you have played so I hope this doesnt come off has condescending, Did you make yourself Admin? Did you hit Apply after you did that? Did you hit Apply after you adjusted the crafting speed? Last thing I can think of is to exit the session and come back in, hope this helps :2016watermelon:

I read that wrong, whoops, Thrall taming speed is a different setting than the two you mentioned vs. the post title. That one takes a little doing, if you right click conan and go to properties in there you can "browse local files" from there follow these exstensions.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ConanExiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor.

In the editor folder if you double click "ServerSettings" it should open in notepad, scroll down till you see "ThrallConversionMultiplier=1.000000" and change that one to 2.0 or 3.0 than go save it or hit Ctrl-S. Now when you restart you solo game it should be alot easier to tame thralls.

You can also change the thrall training speed in the server options.

No you shouldn't feel dumb as hell, this is totally insane. No one who isn't suffering from the last stages of malaria would ever think to make CRAFTING SPEED MULTIPLIER be less by making the number smaller. I can't even believe how asinine this is.

Just FYI, almost every setting is described in the official manual downloadable in the store page : https://store.steampowered.com/manual/440900

For example, about this setting the description is :
Thrall Crafting Time Multiplier
Raising this increases the time it takes to train a thrall. Lowering it decreases training time.

I mention it because I noticed that a lot of players don't know that there is an official manual.

I'm having trouble doing this as well and as dumb as I may sound I don't even see an apply button. Both mine are on 0.10 and I've went in and out of the session and nothing.

if youve started taming the speed wont update but .5 is twice as fast and .25 is 4 times as fast etc

You can force the taming speed to update to new server settings by adding or removing a taskmaster thrall to the wheel of pain thrall slot.
