Cracking Meteors using Demon Fire Orbs. (Helpful Hints).

#1 (important) : Don't rush.
#2 Right Click-Hold for limited time to get your aim.
#3 Toss the orb and let it explode on impact.
#4 (IMPORTANT) .. Let the fire burn out before tossing another Demon Orb.

I've used as few as 2 Demon Fire Orbs to crack open those meteors.
Try it out and let me know how that works for you.

Mkae a few fence or foundation blocks and place them around the meteroite to trap the orbs. Throw oil orbs first to get your aim in then toss in a fire orb. The explosion could open the meteroite in one

Demonfire orbs are a more precious commodity because the gland is very rare. Better to use a couple grease orbs first. But ultimately, use what ever works for you.

How many oil orbs ? One or more ? Somewhere I saw a video where the guy uses 4 gas orbs and one demon fire orb. Works too.

What I would like to know is, how can you simply place orbs?
The only options I get are Drop and Throw.

I only use 3 grease and 1 orb. works 9 out of 10 times. but you're safe using 4, so do whatever you want :) grease orbs are cheap anyways.

Throw them but make sure not to do normal throw cause they roll around. Use the power throw one were it breaks on the meteor. You can practice with grease orbs since they are cheap.

I've had some crazy tough ones that used up nearly a whole stack. But the yield was a bit higher than the usual. Not much of a trade off.

Do you throw them all at once or do you wait every grease orb to finish burning and then the next ?

All at once. 4 grease to make sure then one fire orb. Then wait for abit and ur good to go. Tip stack 1 fire orb with more in reserve because if u dont do ur power throw right it will throw a second one and waste it.

Yep it worked for me yesterday 7x and one time I needed a second fire orb. Looks like the one was buggy but it worked. But I throw 3 grease orbs, then I wait a few seconds till I see cracks on the surface and then I throw a 4th grease orb.
