but you don't need to believe in a god to gain necromancy, enchanted objects will help sorcerers ;)
So much this. and instead of a normal settlement you could build a very expensive settlement out of stones and rare gems. basically you would have to invest a lot of time and effort into building the ability to be a necromancer. your thralls would act as a cult for you until a time when you killed them in a ritual and then they go out and carry dead back to your temple tomb abomination station. There could even be sever penatlies to base stats in return for this power.
it could be an expansion pack or what ever. I would love to see necromancy implemented. I mean necromany would surely get you exiled if not worse. or the exiled area would be a good place to practice and grow your strength.
