ZERO progress on wheel of pain

Whats wrong? Thrall is allways in the wheel of pain, seed's gruel added as a 'fuel'. Progress of 'coocking' (thralling) is ZERO. Whats 'fuel' is better to use for more faster thralling?
I know about Taskmaster, but i still not find em. Question about FIRST thrall..

You might have to capture a thrall first and put it in the wheel. The thrall you see turning the wheel is purely cosmetic. You need a rope and a special club to capture a thrall. You smash the poor npc with the club, equip the rope and press E near the npc. Darg it to the wheel and put it in.

I'm allways grab a thrall and place em into wheel, add food for em, switch ON wheel, but a in a 3 hours progress steel Zero (scale fill not started)

Level 3 + thralls take a long time if you do not have a task master.

The timer on cooking them stops everytime you log out of the game. When you log back in, check to make sure the wheel is on. Occasionally I have found they will turn off on their own. Never really figured out why.

i've check it - its ON. Thanks for adwise. But which 'fuel' better? flesh of grain mix?

I always use gruel... not sure which is best, some players use human flesh, its easy to get by killing NPC's and harvesting them.

Wheel of pain is pretty sure bugged after the last patch. I have problems too.

Single player is torture for thrall-taming because the clock stops often. I did notice (+-12 september) that my single player thrall bar moved a milimeter in 4 hours (level 2 thrall) with the thrall taming timer set to 0.1 (for an hour) then 1.0 (for an hour) and 4.0 (for an hour) so the server setting doesn't appear to have any effect anyway.

If you want to play single player, you're better off hosting a server yourself. You can set the thrall to tame and close the game but leave the server on and go to sleep. When you wake up the thrall is ready!

I'm on day four or five for my T-1 Thralls and they are just coming due. This can't be working as intended. I'm playing solo but leaving the game running.

What I'm I doing wrong?
