I have all the regular armor crafting recipes learned, So that's not the cause. It's a shame Cause I just got a black hand armorer a couple of days ago. :(
The vast majority i've spoken to say its a terrible implementation.
In my opinion the system is great but need a bit of fine tuning.
Heres how i would handle repair:
They need a add a repair durability, meaning you can only repair an items a certein times.
If you repair an item you dont have the receipe for you loose much durability.
If you have the receipe you dont lose as much.
If you repair at the needed workbench (armory smithy) you loose even less.
Thrall crafted items need to be repaired at a station with the thrall to lower durability loss.
They would also need to increase the base durability a bit if they would add that system.
But generally i like not being able to repair everything. That way we can have weapon and armor smiths in a clan. People working together should have a benefit which isnt just we farm wood faster ...
I have the recipe for heavy armor. But my T4 armorer crafted for me the fawless heavy armor. Now I cant repair it. If this is a feature of the game, it made T3 and T4 armorers and blacksmiths useless.
