Drag and Drop Gone?

Hey all,

After the patch, I noticed that I can no longer remove things from my hotbar or inventory via drag and drop into an open space in the map. Is this feature removed or am I missing something?

Change your sort order to somethign other than what you are using and change it back, it will then work.

Chnage your ort order? You mean how you categorize your inventory (Name, etc)? If so, just tried that and it didn't work.

Ooh, I realize I made my statement sound like something else. Yes, I discovered that trick as well (Custom -> something else -> back to Custom).

What I meant was, dragging an item off the inventory window in order to "drop" the item all together. I can use "spacebar" to do so, but the ability to drop the item via a simple click and drag is gone.

I was unable to drag and drop something from my hotbar, I had to move to inventory then drag and drop or space bar it.

I see the same issue with drag-and-drop for dropping items no longer working, but started using the DROP button which works fine.

I'll resort the inventory, steitsch, and see if that fixes it. Thanks!

Your talking about after u finish using let's say walls and you want to drag and drop the shadow icon to free the space. Yeah yoy can't do that anymore you can only drag it to the inv...

Yes, that's part of it. I did figure out you can drag and drop it to inventory on accident just the other night actually. The other part is dropping items from your inventory to the ground entirely. Spacebar works, but I'm mechanically trained to drag and drop instead :p

Yea, same here, and I hate that they apparently removed drag and drop.
