Flawless starmetal gear

So guys, i'm creating a thread here because i'm currently talking about this topic in the testive forum which isn't very pratical for the devs since it has almost nothing to do there.
2 guys told me that their lvl4 armorers can craft them flawless starmetal armor pieces.
i checked it myself with almost all my lvl 4 armorers and none of them was able to craft any special starmetal gear except an exceptional shield with a lvl 3 cimmerian armorer.
Can other here bring their experience and feedback to this topic and write who can craft what?
Please also precise if you're playing on PVP/PVE, testive/official patch, PC/Xbox.

So untill now i have checked with these armorers, i will add the other ones as soon i'll get to my other bases.

Diana steelshaper
legendary armorer (dogs of desert)
Cimmerian armorer 3
Nordheimer armorer (heir of the north)
Than hammerblow

Joka and Jehungir will follow soon, but for now on our PVP server with the official latest patch on PC, these armorers don't give anything special regarding starmetal armor pieces.

Until now only things of starmetal who i saw that can be crafted flawless are the hammer, speer and dagger from blacksmith cimmerian 4 and the flawless starmetal shield in cimmerian armorer 4 , with the comming update i saw the flawless vanir armor will can be crafted in nordheimer armorer 4, biggest problem is that all workbench cimmerian 4 just dont spawn, and nordheimer until today i just saw alchemist and blacksmith, those all i saw spawning then in admin tool.

If you wanna know who craft what, i can say that black hand zamorian III armorer craft the zamorian dance wears, any armorer 3 or 4 from blackhand make their shirt and pants, from dogs any armorer 3 or 4 makes the dogs wear, in relic hunter city all 3 and 4 makes the relic hunter armor.

Nordheimer blacksmith 3 makes exceptional and 4 flawless of reinforced steell weapons , and their armorer make the fur armor (it will be crafted by cimmerian 3 and 4 after next update, nordheimer will start make exceptional and flawless vanir armor)

You're right leipzig von preussen, at the current time the only way to get what you have just mentionned is to spawn lvl 4 thralls through the admin pannel, and as you noticed no thrall can craft a flawless sword even if you spawn a cimmerian 4 with admin power.
But other player told me they were able to craft flawless starmetal pauldron, armor...etc using diana steelshaper or blackhand lvl 4 armorers and lvl 4 nordheimer armorer.
So i'm wondering what give them this possibility whereas i can't with the same thralls.
My guess is that it has something to do with the fact they are playing on testive patch and on singleplayer mode or using the the admin maybe...
Do you have lvl 4 armorers?
Do you play on official or testive patch?
Do you play on single player mode?

Did you ever consider the fact that most people have no idea what they are talking about. It could be one reason or another. Maybe they are not native English speakers or have trouble reading. A lot of people I meet on servers play on terrible computers/connections. They can hardly play the game much less fully understand how things work.

First thing that comes to my mind recently was this poor person responding to a looking for group thread a few days ago. The first and only thread post was from Feb 15th. I felt bad knowing that person is wondering why they do not want him or respond back.

Maybe it is single player people and admins who have no idea what playing the game is like. I read the other post where someone said diana steelshaper could make the flawless starmetal gear. It makes 0 sense that an old south npc could craft new north gear. Also unlikely Funcom would go back to touch up old things even if they wanted it that way. Lastly I can see none of my named thralls can make it. The only ones I am missing are the set city npcs. Have not bothered with that place yet for this current time between wipes but you checked those ones already.

you might be right "use your brain" because i can say that i have now checked all my armors lvl 4, and neither joka nor jehungir can craft any special starmetal gear, and as you mentionned this would indeed make no sense if they could.
But see my point here: i assume peaople here have no interest/benefit or whatever in lying, that's why i want to find this everything out by comparing with other gamers' feedback like yours or "leipzig von Preussen".
But you could be right in the sense they actually don't even understand what they are talking about...
Anyways i can say for sure that on the server i'm currently playing with the oficial latest patch on PC, none of the lvl 4 armorers of the game can craft any special starmetal armor except the exceptional shield wih a cimmerian lv3.
i hope they will add the recipes and the missing lvl 4 thralls of the frozen north soon.

So there was an update and things have changed....

Players who were saying on testive that lvl 4 armorer from the south were able to craft flawless starmetal gear were actually right.
It seems this thing is related to the last patch that was on testive at that time, because since the last patch, i can confirm that lvl4 armorers can craft flawless starmetal gear (the entire equipement) if you do have the recipe for it , of course.

so i though it would be nice to let other know that, in case they don't yet....

I had two Legendary Armorers, after the patch, I noticed both could craft the flawless starmetal. Cant confirm that anymore as I deleted that character and switched servers.

didn't find any legendary armorer from the den in my new server yet, but i can say that the 2 named ones from the pirate ship can craft every starmetal piece as flawless except the gloves (exceptional only....weird, i know...)

i wasn't...after about 30 runs in the den i found 5 talithah, 6 yael, 3 sadeh, 2 iona, but no legendary armorer was to be found...
But to be honest, i don't really care about him...
I was just wondering....if he can actually spawn as a female, since i only found him as a male on my last server and my teamates too...
So please let me know.
What is good at the den is that almost all thralls can spawn topless :-) and it's not that difficult compared to other big camps but i guess you don't really care about topless thralls in PVP, do you?
