Are snake arrows working

Is the poison dotting up and ticking off?

My partner accidentally shot me with a couple the other day, and they were definitely working then.

Well at least on NPCs it seems to be, they go into the deaththroe jig when dying and thier body flops. I honestly dont think the poison is that effective. I switched to razor arrows which have a higher DPS.

Poison doesn't seem to do any aditional damage, you just get a long death animation from them.

I like poison for how cheap they are to make but does get a bit annoying having to wait for ncp for finish dying before you can loot. Razor arrows are too costly, alot of work making steel bars but Iron ones are the best and very easy to make.

I keep the razors for PVP against other players or high level mobs, and use the snake arrows for every day killing. :P
