Here are some of the more common questions about Conan Exiles. Hopefully you'll find the answers you're looking for in here.

How much does it cost?

The Early Access version of Conan Exiles costs $29.99. Full price at launch will be $39.99 on PC and $49.99 on consoles.

When will you release on Steam/Xbox One/PS4?

Full release across all announced platforms is on May 8th.

What separates Conan Exiles from ARK/Rust/Other survival games?

A greater focus on melee combat. There's also the religion system, god avatars, thrall system, and a unique world with plenty of lore based on a great fictional universe.

Will Conan Exiles have cross-play/cross-buy between PC and Xbox One?

No, that is not something we've planned.

Will there be split-screen co-op on consoles?

There will not be splitscreen support.

Which languages are you supporting?

Conan Exiles will be available in 11 languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.

Is this a new MMO?

No, this is an open world survival game. It is, however, set in Robert E. Howard's Conan universe, like Age of Conan was.

Are there public PvE/PvP servers?

Absolutely! Just check the server list in the game!

Can I make my own server?

You can host a co-op server on your own PC, or set up a server on an external machine. You can also rent a server from a hosting company, like G-Portal.

I want to play by myself. Can I do that?

Yes you can. The single-player mode has the same content as the multiplayer mode, just with less people.

Will you support Linux servers?

There's currently no support for Linux servers.

What are you doing to avoid people cheating?

Conan Exiles uses Battle-Eye enables to prevent cheating and Denuvo to prevent piracy.

What are you doing to avoid mega clans dominating public servers?

We're capping the number of players you can have in one clan.

Are you going to fix/improve your AI/Animations/Combat/UI?

Everything in the game is subject to change both before and during Early Access.

How can I protect my stuff from other players?

Thrall fighters and archers will act as guards and turrets, fighting off enemy players if they try to attack you. You can set out traps in your base to avoid being raided. There are also server settings in place to turn off offline raiding.

Do I have to play first person?

You can play in either first or third person

Will we only get to play in the desert?

We launched with just the desert biome, but it was a very diverse desert biome. It has rivers, savannah, grasslands and a sandy area. We expanded the game's play field with a forest/mountain biome that added new content. Currently we're working on a jungle biome that will add even more content, and a volcano area that will be added to the mountains.

Will there be quests?

No traditional MMO style quests, but you will find lore pieces that might point you toward a cool piece of loot or a cave/temple/ruin you can explore.

Where in Hyboria are the Exiled Lands located?

It’s a new setting that’s not found in the original Conan lore. We made it ourselves!

Is there a story?

Conan Exiles isn’t a story focused game, but you can find lore that explains the origins of the Exiled Lands and it's connection to the greater Conan universe.
