So I want to rent a server but pingperfect is outrageous and gtxgaming and survialserver don't have any servers near my location so does anyone know where I can find a site that has servers in the midwest area.

SurvivalServers have servers in Dallas, TX. How is that not close? I've used them for many years for Day Z, ArmA, Reigh of Kings, etc. Now I have two servers from them for Conan Exiles.

These are all the mentions i could find, I have no idea about the quality nor service of any of these mentioned.
However i will say people do sound happy with survivalsevers and pingperfect, As pingperfect has dropped thier pricing, and you get a 25% off lifetime deal if you upgrade conan exiles pack.

https://www.g-portal.com/ rent per person 0,95 €

https://serverblend.com/conan-exiles-servers/ These guys will be hosting Conan Exiles and are usually very competitively priced.

LOL. Survival Servers. I'll just leave this link here https://www.trustpilot.com/review/survivalservers.com <3

gtx gaming has 10 slots and is DDOS protected.
https://www.gtxgaming.co.uk/game-servers/conan-exiles-game-server-hosting.html

We, bluefangsolutions.com, use our own in-house built custom control panel as well and we've been in business for almost 5 years now. Definitely not a "fly-by-nightish" company. :)

These were all copy pasted from respective people that mentioned them.
Once again i am neither sure of quality nor service.

Edit: didnt realise one of those links was a review lol.

well when you live in Wisconsin, Dallas is pretty far and when I connect to dallas servers my ping isn't that great. When I play rust it's at 89 now when I connect to New York it's 77 but still if I'm paying for service I want to have at least a 50 ping if not less.

I wouldn't even bother reading that "Trust Pilot" link for SurvivalServers. Take it from someone who's actually used them... I've never had a problem. In fact the one or two problems I've ever had, they were quick to fix. They even walked me through settings up my server when I added mods for Ark. I saw this in one of those "reviews":

"I paid more for better support and all that"

I about laughed myself off the page. There is no paid support. You can't upgrade your support. It's all free and it's all fast.

Dallas is a major hub for the entire US. If you don't get a decent ping there... something is wrong (and it's not with that server). If you're wanting 50 ping or less consistently... sorry, you should probably move out of a state that isn't so far out of the networks.

As I live in Colorado, I've never had a problem with Dallas servers. In fact, they've been the best over LA, Seattle, and every other option out there.

lol pingperfect has one in Chicago that's right by me. And yeah I've lived in Colorado myself and the reason why you get great ping is because Texas isn't far off from Colorado. I used to connect to Dallas servers all the time with no problem. But really going from Northern Wisconsin to Dallas is waaaaayyyyyyyy different from go to lets say Colorado Springs or Ft.Collins to Dallas

Living in Colorado has nothing to do with it (it certainly doesn't hurt). But, I get worse pings to Denver servers, than I do with Dallas because Dallas is a major hub. East coast, west coast, midwest all get great pings to Dallas servers. I know... I've been running servers for a long time and I pay special attention to the members needs. I'm always looking into the server performance and making sure everyone is solid.

Try pinging one of SurvivalServers test servers... or hop onto one. You're complaining about PingPerfect but then say how close they are to you. Go with them, then. Pay extra money for a 5ms difference. Sounds like a great idea to me. :/

I wish PingPerfect wasn't so damn expensive... I would have gone with them for the extra features (like SSD installation). But as soon as I saw SurvivalServer prices at HALF of what PingPerfect wanted... I laughed myself into a two server purchase. They've since dropped the prices... but they're still about $10 too much.

That said... here's a screenshot of my SurvivalServers panel:

I've used them for a long time... used that ArmA server to host a bunch of mods. Had an Ark server on their network as of last month. Was solid performance (I was testing a bunch of mods). The two on the bottom are the new Conan servers.

Sadly it doesn't matter because it looks like Dallas is maxed out. When I go to purchase one it's greyed out oh well lol

I'll be using Nitrado, as I do for Empyrion, Space Engineers, and GRAV.

https://www.gtxgaming.co.uk/game-servers/conan-exiles-game-server-hosting.html

This is wrong. they now require 20 slots minimum.

also, please explain why www.bluefangsolutions.com is using a purchasable "high priority CPU" option. Does that mean that you run your servers at max, or close to, and that this is a reasonable option? No hosting company should ever offer that option. It's like saying "hey, we are going to screw your server for someone else's because we don't have enough hardware".

Well then you are very lucky. I tryed to rent a server with them and kept being told that it was activated but it was never accessable to play on and the Control Panel would not update my config or server settings. It said the server was running but it was not and I could not even stop or restart it. I never had these issues with other companies that I have had server on in the past.

I have asked for a refund

gameservers.com is now official host and I use these guuys for my Rust server. Great service.

I just got a Survival Servers server for conan exiles and am very happy with it. FTP access, Web interface, even web serversettings.ini edit. The half year price was good for me.

the only caveat I would say exists is this: IF it says DO NOT XYZ, follow the directions and DO NOT XYZ! Based on support tickets way too many people navigate off the pages that say stay here, do not close, etc....
Tyr Wulfram Feb 7, 2017 @ 11:21pm
I had a gtxgaming server and it was terrible. I had to restart my server every time I wanted to connect to my server and the only answer I would get from support was " Well I see your server ". So I went to the FAQ they had did all the troubleshooting and my friends and I could still not connect to the server and when some of us could others couldn't because it said the password was wrong even when I changed it to 1234. I will never get another server from them again!!!
