[Question] Are people still able to glitch through walls?

Hello,

My and my clan-mates took a break from the game after we logged in to our base cleaned out with no damage to the doors or structures to get inside. Our base is on top of a mountain with 0 ways in, and 4 levels of stairs we destroy before logging out. Paranoia level of protection to our base. So we decided its pointless to put the effort in anymore while people are teleportation/glitching/exploiting into bases and somehow getting up mountains that are not climbable. Have not played since day 1 of the new patch (that is when we got raided).

Has anything changed or new exploits been fixed or has this still been happening? We are kinda itching to play the game but unless some headway has been made in these issues wont be logging back in.

my personal pocket dev team i bought them for 30€ won't do what i tell them to do, they are not working at all and there is no activity during holidays..

It would be easier to defend them if they didn't have a sale during the time they were on holiday and th egame being broken.

One of our friends forgot to remove two flights of stairs and then the Chinese crossed the wall and made one ladder up the back of the other ..

All weekend, official server #20 has been subjected to relentless exploited attacks. Pretty much all of the clans have been wiped out, save for those who might have vaults. My clan had all of our bases taken out (all of them on cliffs or on the ceiling of caves) with all t2 doors remaining in tact and all the stairs removed. In one of our bases we managed to defend it 3 times as they glitched up through the mountain through the terrain.

This whole issue is ridiculous now, so many servers and players affected leaving a whole community disgruntled. They need to start banning people who are clearing taking advantage of the exploits. Its fair enough to discover one and report it to the Dev's, but to use it to impact unfairly on so many players, I see this an infringement. Its also not a great impression to the many new players that joined with the current sale going on. They didn't know what to do for fear that their initial progression would be for nothing when they saw everyone in the general chat shouting out that they just been hit by the hackers.

This is actually used but with thralls. We call them air gaps. I think rhinos can break through even T3 walls though. Which I think is a bad thing, because of players that kite such animals to your base if you build on the ground.

Really I'm starting to realize that offline raiding is going to kill this game even after Gods and exploits are fixed. I hope they steal the idea from REND to put a shield around your structure that drops after an amount of time. Simply have a server wide time frame of PvP when structured can be dmged and raided. I don't know many people that can enjoy a game where you wake up to your base and all of your previous days work gone. I mean not without the proper chance to fight for it at least.

They will fix one thing and it will be OK for a week and then the next patch breaks what they fixed two weeks before. so to some it "looks" like they are fixing stuff, but it's really a game of one step forward and two steps back. I now spend a LOT of time investigating if actual raids are legit or exploits. They should have waited on the trebs. Just made more work for me as an admin. I have to investigate almost every single raid now because everyone is sure it's an exploit. Not even sure I can call myself a server admin anymore. I'm a private eye now. I'm only one or two complaints away from quitting this game all together.

You shouldn't waste your money on server renting on a pre alpha game. I've already wasted a lot of time , most of the time I was afk, but still a lot.

Ta add! Meu clan com mais de 10 membros desistiu do Conan Exiles. Enquanto figurinhas conhecidas (que não posso mencionar os nomes aqui) continuarem a jogar no #088 eu não volto. Inclusive 2 deles além de invadir foram no meu perfil do Steam para rir da minha cara.
