And.. I was left unsure of what the plan was for that, the 'new' dungeon that’s coming up has phosphorus confirmed as a resource (underwater torches being mentioned) to be fought over but they said they didn't know if they were going to go the traditional loot table route.
That was part of my leveling up regiment and kind of falls under interior decorating/base improvements
What is the traditional loot table route?

Actually, they didn't specify that, that is me presuming from other games to what a traditional loot table is so to be fair... I may be misinterpreting and there are enough people doing that already.
Well technically there are chests full of stuff but most of the time it is just small amouts of resources you could get easier by just farming them regularly
Personally I would not be advocating that boss monsters become loot pinata's like the standard MMO style loot fests but I would hope they drop rare resources or items you can't get any other way, items that can be used to craft the most powerful items or use the most powerful rituals or spells, for instance requiring an item from a really tough boss monster in order to summon an avatar would be a good start as sort of a trial to judge the worthiness of the person trying to summon a god.
