Please clear this up for Server Admins!!

I run a dedicated server and have a few questions regarding some admin commands and server settings...

1. For ViewPlayer [Player ID], is there a way to spectate others in third person instead of first person? When using the ViewPlayer command, my perspective is moved to being inside the indicated player's head, meaning if they have a turban on or anything in front of their face, then I can't see anything at all.

2. I want to disable sprint stamina costs for all players, but keep stamina costs for everything else. How can I do this? Is there a command I am missing?

3. I want to disable 'dropping inventory loot on death', but keep 'drop hotbar on death'. How can I do this? Is there even a command for this?

Because that does not seem to work. When I killed myself I just ended up losing all of my stuff, including my inventory which is what I want players to keep.

didi you put this in your serversettings.ini ?

DropLootOnDeath=True
DropEquipmentOnDeath=False
DropShortcutbarOnDeath=True
DropBackpackOnDeath=False


DropLootOnDeath on/off (when off no loot will drop)
DropEquipmentOnDeath is for droping armor
DropShortcutbarOnDeath is for droping your items in hotbar
DropBackpackOnDeath is the inventory drop

iam wondering for your [/script/conansandbox.serversettings], where did you get this from
normaly the serversettings.ini beginns with [ServerSettings]

ah found it, i think you put it in the wrong configfile (my gameusersettings file begins with your [/script/conansandbox.serversettings] and this is the wrong file :D


but why you want only to drop your hotbar? normal survial is drop all, drop nothing or drop backpack only. drop only hotbar is new for me hehe becaus you will loose all you weapons.. and keep the meat and bones

I put the four settings underneath [Serversettings], but it still does not seem to work. Players still lose all of their items when they die...

Since my server is hosted by Fragnet, the file location of serversettings.ini is slightly different:
"ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\ServerSettings.ini"

But that shouldn't make any difference, since other settings work fine when I change them. Could it be that the devs have completely disabled this setting? I really need some answers on this..
