Mitra offering
Why does it now need in addition to a soul a Set offering of a heart and a Yog piece of flesh? If I were Mitra I'd be insulted. Explanation please? I hope the altars for Set and Yog also got the nerf on this.

Hoping it's a typo.

Also would like to know how people who don't worship Set or Yog are supposed to get that stuff?

Yog's flesh no longer regens hp and Mitra is the only one that has an "offering."

You can get all religions anyways.

Not the ambrosia, the "mitra offering"

Offering, not ambrosia.

I'd like a game explanation as to why Mitra needs human hearts and flesh. Any devs care to chime in on that please? As per R.E.H. Mitra does not require nor need human sacrifice nor blood offerings.

And once in game, imagine my surprise when the recipe does not even use the leftover soul part, it's asking for a heart and piece of yog flesh.

Wtf?! This makes zero sense. How can a priest of Mitra bring something only Settites and Yoggites can gather? Do NOT say go learn the other religions. This is an RP server, and there is no game excuse that can be made to do this. Plus it's offensive to the religion, the write up in the game even says what Mitra wants.

Still makes no sense. Sounds like a nerf to me.

Mitra is perceived to be a "civilized" god and most mitrian cultists persecuted those of other religions being barbaric in nature. Maybe the thought is that you aren't harvesting these barbaric offerings but when you find another alter you remove this impure structure and ask Mitra to purge the world of this filth.

How so? you can learn all three religions so all players can get all the different items.

Mitra's Ambrosia was healing rly fast, it heal better than Yog's Purified Flesh and Aloe Extract. So i think they nerf it so in combat you can't spam it as it used to be.
Probitas Feb 15, 2017 @ 12:13pm
It still only takes 1 soul to make 1 ambrosia. And when you make ambrosia you get one offering to Mitra token by default anyway. All they did is make it so we have to spam build ambrosia and junk it. Stupid if you ask me, makes no game sense at all.

How is it any different than the other religions? As a set worshiper, I have like 2,000 antidotes. We don't get an "offering."

I'm still trying to figure out the point of the offering anyway. What self respecting priest of Mitra would soil his altar by placing that garbage on it? Only in a game.

Defiling other god's altars for rewards is a planned game mechanic for all three religions.

Over time, a place that is used for religious ceremonies takes on a certain significance. Not simply in the minds of the followers of that religion, but also in others who pass through an area.

In the oldest groves and shrines of the world, the presence of those ancient, gloomy gods can still be felt. In the shining altars of Mitra or the bloody slabs of Set, the manifestation of this spiritual presence is palpable.

When a shrine is defiled, this effect leeches slowly away, but if the defilers are of an opposing religion, they actually absorb the power that they have stolen. Thus altars are a precious commodity in the Exiled Lands and worship brings great bounties to those who pursue it.

It doesn't make any sense in the context of the current patches because there's no mechanics to support the full system yet. Just be patient.
