Instructions on how to enabled mods on your dedicated server.
Updated as of 5/12/2018

- First step is to subscribe and download the mod files to your system. Launch the game enable the mods on your client.

-Once that's done navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\440900

-Each folder in there will contain the mod you downloaded.

-Grab the .pak files and go to your root folder for your dedicated server.

-Create Mods folder under ConanSandBox of your server

C:\(rootserverfolder)\ConanSandbox

-Copy the .pak files to C:\(rootserverfolder)\ConanSandbox\Mods

-Create txt file called modlist within Mods folder

- Edit the modlist.txt file you just created

- Put in the name of the .pak file only since they reside in the same location as the mod text file.

That's all there is too it. Moderators if you want to sticky go for it.

Not sure what you mean? Are we talking about the wildcard * ?

C:\(rootserverfolder)\ConandSandbox\Mods\nameofmod3.pak
This is called a path. only your server host knows the full path you have to ask for it. plus do you have * in front of each?

No that's the thing no * in front of each and it's working fine. So my question is what's the purpose of having * in front ?

Bump. Just cause there seems to be alot of peepz having problems.

This method is only going to work if you have your own dedicated server and know the full path. Most people are using hosted servers and won't know the full path. I think that's where the "*" comes into play.

That makes sense. Probably were all the confusion was coming from. Either way i'll have to retest just using the wildcard later and see cause it didn't seem to work.

Could be coincidence but I know the mods I put on last night were updated I think so I had to refresh. So I launched my client to make sure they were up to date and copied them over again and it works fine now.

This is an old post. There may be a way to configure your server to allow clients to download the mods upon connecting to server. I have not played in months so i'm not sure but something to consider looking into.

Sorry hadn't been keeping track of this post and have not played the game in months but it's pretty strait forward.

If you are asking about creating the folder it has to be at the top level of the installation path of the game. IE if you installed the game to C:\Conan\ it would be C:\Conan\ConanSandbox
