if your server is set to auto-restart

Please for the love of crom put some sort of warning in place before it resets. have it warn 60-30 minutes prior at 15 minute intervals. then a 10 and 5 minute warning.


just found out the "random" server DCs on the server i play on is because a auto restart is in place. really dumb founded there is no warnings before.

if there is no system in place to set warnings with the auto restart system. it needs to be implemented as an option.

There is no way to warn people as there is no admin say, announce or anything similar. It's just like it is right now with servers.

so there is absolutely no way for an admin to set up an auto announcement before the auto restart happens?

if so that option really needs to be added for the server admins. in a game like this its critical to know if the server is about to be restarted.

at the moment there is no way for admins to communicate inside the game without being logged in. My solution to that is I have a webpage where I make announcments for my server and remind thm that there is an automatic restart every night at the same time

Do you know there are bugs to make servers automatically crash and not restart when someone messes with Clan services right? They dont restart.

i always thought they were all crashes but apparently the server i play is said to be set to restart every 6 hours (which atleast i now know) . just figured it would be nice if there was a way to have it announced. if something would of popped up sayin hey regular restart is happening. i would of gotten a heads up.

i can deal with issues forcing the server to restart. i paid into this knowing there will be issues with the game or problems with servers running.

my problem is i was told the server going down was not a bug or anything but its set to auto restart every so often to keep up with updates. hopefully there will be something implemented so the admins can turn on some announcement prior to restarts

i dont see how i could of came across as entitled. i clearly state i can deal with issues but if admins are able to set an auto restart would be nice for some auto announcement to happen prior.

maybe u been reading too many posts that mindlessly bash on this game tho so it came across like one or something
