On a serious note though, it would be cool and useful if you could summon a sandstorm, in case you're being besieged by another clan. But then again that might be a bit overpowered. Maybe the devs can balance it a bit if they ever decide to implement that feature.
Hopefully sandstorms will be longer in duration, and damage things and or people if only slightly. A slower movement speed at least perhaps while in the center of one :f
Good idea. Having longer sandstorms will increase the tension and challenge, maybe ramp it up to 5-10 minutes? While I don't think that sandstorms should damage buildings, I think that unless you're in shelter, it will tear you to shreds in 2 minutes if you're inside it.

I was noticing a lack of sandstorm activity for what seems like days without any,
until I restarted the server. Now I've been getting at least one every day or so.
Vahlok, they vanish and then it requires a server restart for them to appear again, Ive noticed this too. - Perhaps its time to bug report so we dont lose this awesome feature.
