Is that something I contact my ISP about and say something like "hey, allow more 'throttle' for steam"?
I can't advise you on this. It may be a steam issue (the game is popular), may be your ISP, out of date router/modem etc. About how fast can you download comparably sized games?
well that's what I was saying about Marvel Heroes. That game also took over 4 hours.
That said, and I just noticed this was a feature, If I start to download, say, Borderlands, it says "estimated download time is 5 hours at 482 kbs".
you should find out what mainboard you own and then google for a bit, this killer lan thingy usually comes on premium gaming mainboards.. and so far only throttled download speed for me :p
And just in case someone is thinking "well that's a really crap harddrive" (not sure if it is or not, or if it's just "meh") As of 6 months ago i downloaded all of GTA5 in less than 80 minutes. (which is vastly larger than Conan)
I have no idea, but that sucks, man.
youre also patiently waiting for the official servers to come back up ? :D
