Upgrade walls and doors

How do i upgrade to tier 2 structures? do i need to tear down the old one? I really hope not! i've built so much now that i'd rather have it all in sandstone than having to tear it all down...

You don't upgrade, you only replace.

Would be nice if they added a way to upgrade walls like in 7 days to die.

Is there no t2/t3 door? Cause if not then there is no point in the upgradeed structures. Hopeefully I'm missing something.

there is a t2 and t3 door

You only really need to replace the ground floor to a higher tier of wall to protect your base.

Higher levels are out of reach of players so don't need to be replaced straight away.

Yeah I hate replacing walls, why can't they do it like ark did where when you replace the wall, the older wall actually explodes and refund you the materials? seriously....

It refunds half of the materials when you take it down properly.

Currently the process to upgrade a wall section is to destroy it then put in the upgraded section. You get a refund of some of the mats needed to craft the original block.
